What evil lurks within the online meeting house of horror?

On April 20, the NOVA Scribes got together online for an evening of shared misery. We told stories of our worst online meetings, like:

πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ ...the presenter who didn't mute his headset during a bio break.
πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ ...the webmeeting app that couldn't mute participants, so whenever anyone put the call on hold, everyone else heard the helpful recorded message that September was Chicken Month.
πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ ...the OTHER webmeeting app where the "Push to Talk" button is right next to the "Push to End" button. As in, end the meeting for everyone.
πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ ...the participant who said, "I wasn't listening. Could you explain that again?" (There were a few of those.)
πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ ...that one time someone created a giant sticky note on MURAL obscuring everything else and would NOT let go of it.
πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ...that one part of the company DID recognize daylight savings time, while the other part of the company DID NOT.

We told stories, populated a haunted house template in MURAL, and tried to find the funny amidst the horror of it all. Because what better group to share your horror stories with than sympathetic colleagues who are in the same boat?

So what did we come up with? Here’s our compiled list of online meeting horrors. Enjoy, and beware! πŸ‘»

Which of these horrors have you encountered and lived to tell the tale?
